Skye...

Well we set off Thursday night for the Isle of Skye after some major drama of kids getting sick, rental cars and on & on, it was crazy and I think we all wondered if we would ever get going. We had about a 3.5 hour drive ahead of us to make it to Inverness for the night and then on to Skye the next day... it poured Thursday in Aberdeen with flooding... as you will see below.. but we went on... after all the drama of getting ready to leave we weren't stopping... the kids were great, the roads very winding & of course there were signs posted quite frequently... HEAVY RAIN, FLOODING, DRIVE WITH CAUTION... but on we went! We made it to Inverness without any major problems just a lot of rain!

Subway sandwiches! We rented a HUGE 9 seater van for all of us, it was great for all the driving!

In the hotel... gotta love those Premier Inn's!

And we are off.. for another day of adventure!
