skye.. Saturday

Isle of Skye Saturday drive! This is suppose to be a rock that looks like a kilt in good weather! The wind and rain were so horrible in this shot I was absolutely soaked getting back into the car... but even with all the rain we saw some very pretty country side & we did laugh a lot and I mean a lot!!!!

Celebrating Dakota's 4th birthday! We had a blast, he had is favorite a plain hamburger (sound like anyone else we know Daddy) and of course his other favorite ice cream with some candles and singing!!! He is so like his father in so many ways... foods takes first place, knowing what he wants, compassion for others, most of his facial expressions and many more! Dakota we love you... our boy... who makes me laugh constantly and loves you better than anyone...

the kids boat ride... we promised dakota a boat ride for his birthday and this is what he ended up getting, the weather was so terrible boat rides weren't happin and even if they were not sure I would have allowed my kids on those boats in this weather they weren't quite big enough for me. We felt terrible but in the end he took it really good and actually said that was good enough, he wasn't quite sure he wanted to go in the water after all!!!
