So I have to give some history here. James Taylor was introduced to Ben by Wayne (who we were visiting) in Korea on there daily ride to work together, I listened to James Taylor growing up all the time. Ben has since put James Taylor in his top ten. Jo, who was also with us in Korea LOVES James Taylor and always has. Since then there has always been something special with the 6 of us and James Taylor. He came to London when Wayne & Tina were living there so Ben went to London (I was either very preggers or just having a baby) and Jo & Guy flew in from Spain (where they were working at the time). It was a very special night. Since then Wayne & Tina have moved back to Wayne's home country, Australia, and when the opportunity came to go see James Taylor in Australia we all jumped on the wagon and went. Jo & Guy came from Canada & us from Aberdeen for one very remarkable night!
Here we all are, it was the first night of the tour! It was worth the 24 hour plane ride!

The ride home... Wayne found us this 1928 taxi with a crazy Italian driver. He was tuff, it can be a bit scary late at night in down-town Melbourne, kids hitting his car b/c it only goes 20 mph etc but man he was tough... he wasn't going to let some dumb drunk idiots stop what he loved to do. Although we all agreed he might have to stop soon due to lack of sight. I think we rode two lanes the entire drive back to the hotel, cut in front of the city train, ran a red light and managed to tick of a lot of drivers! It was worth it and hilarious! A wonderful end to a very special night!
