Pre-School here we come...

Look at that adorable man!!!!
Today was Dakota's first day of pre-school. He is in the same building as last year but with a BIG move upstairs! Dakota was convinced he could not go upstairs to school unless he was 4 so we had to tell him his birthday came a bit early today so he would be 4 when he started! Just a week early! He was very excited to wear his new tennies that light up with a basketball, soccer ball & football on the side which he picked out and are the only tennis shoes that make him go fast (according to him). He also got to pack his back pack with two snacks and his indoor shoes with a rocket ship on them.
Sierra coming to join!
The three munchkins together!
Look at my two big kids!!! (we now have a lot of green in this house)
Dakota got to have Daddy walk him to school as well. He was over the moon! Look at what a big boy he is. I know he is mine but could he get any cuter walking away!!!!
Love you buddy!
Of course we had to have the goodbye hug!
Sierra still waving goodbye 5 minutes after they left!!

Dakota's little surprise when he came home. His teachers said that he did great on his first day. He even walked into his old class room after lunch so they had to get him to go upstairs. When I picked him up he was sitting at a table making play-doh having a great time. He talked up a storm as we walked home about his day.
This is what we had done for Asia when she came home. Of course the first thing she said was... mom, thank you for making my first day so special. She loved the cookies and her personalized paper from Nannie was the best surprise she said! Asia has loved everyday and made friends easily. Being able to walk them to the same school everyday is just awesome.

Wow Michelle...that is so wonderful! Your kids are so adorable and yes, Dakota is too too cute walking to school with Daddy. What a treat! And thanks for the idea about a "first day of school" treat.
